This can easily be remedied through the client Dashboard online at InsureMyEquipment.com. Instead of correcting the certificate of insurance, simply issue a new certificate of insurance with the correct information. 

Create a New COI with Correct Information

• Log in at InsureMyEquipment.com and navigate to your Dashboard
• Click the link to “Issue a Certificate’ or ‘Create New Certificate’
• Do NOT click the company name from your current certificate holders (it will simply re-create the COI with the wrong information).
• Instead, click ‘Create New Certificate Holder’ at the bottom
• Fill in the correct information for the Rental House or Certificate holder including their email address.
• Click Submit.
• The new COI will be effective immediately after it is issued, and you can simply ignore the old and incorrect COI
