Claims Process Guide

1. Submitting a Claim Online
- For theft or burglary claims, securing a police report in the local jurisdiction is essential.
- Access your dashboard and click on the ‘Submit a Claim’ link to initiate the process.
- Fill out the claim application comprehensively and submit it promptly.
2. Claims Adjuster Assignment
- Within 2 business days of claim submission, a dedicated claims adjuster will be assigned to your case.
- Expect communication via email and phone from your claims adjuster, so be vigilant in monitoring both channels.
3. Documentation Required
- Prepare the necessary documents and information for your claims adjuster, including:
- Detailed list of equipment subject to claim.
- Incident explanation.
- Police report (for theft, burglary, or criminal events).
- Proof of purchase.
- Repair invoice (if applicable).
- Rental contract (if applicable).
4. Covered Causes of Loss
- Our policy covers a broad spectrum of risks, including theft, accidental damage, damage or loss while in transit, fire, earthquake, flood, acts of terrorism, and more. Refer to your policy document for comprehensive coverage terms.
5. Exclusions to Note
- Certain exclusions apply, such as consequential loss, governmental action, wear and tear, and theft from an unlocked vehicle unless specified in your policy.
- Coverage for equipment while afloat or underwater is excluded unless explicitly added to your policy.
6. Important Information
- Deductibles apply to each claim event, with the highest deductible applicable.
- If the claim involves rented equipment, you are expected to pay the deductible amount directly to the rental house or certificate holder
- Promptly report theft, burglary, or other criminal acts to the police and obtain a valid police report.
- Document forcible vehicle entry with photographs if applicable.
- If damage occurs in transit, notify the courier or airline in writing promptly.
- Safeguard damaged equipment and take necessary steps to mitigate further loss or damage to protect your rights under the policy.
