Reduce Your Coverage Limit

Your coverage limit is the maximum amount that can be paid for any one claim event during your policy period. It applies per claim, not per policy.

How to Reduce Your Policy Limit

Adjustments to your policy limit cannot be made through the online portal and require assistance. Follow the guidelines below based on your policy type:

Rented Equipment Policyholders

  • Short-Term Policies:
    • You cannot reduce the policy limit for short-term rented equipment policies.
    • If you have just purchased a policy with an incorrect limit, you must purchase a new policy with the correct limit and request cancellation and a refund for the previous policy.
  • Annual Policies:
    • Annual policyholders can reduce their limit at any time.
    • To reduce your limit, email [email protected] with your new desired limit. If a refund is due, you will be notified, and the decrease will be processed accordingly.

Owned Equipment Policyholders

  • Scheduled Equipment Limit:
    • You can reduce your scheduled equipment limit by accessing the scheduled equipment list from your dashboard.
    • Edit the value of scheduled items or remove them completely. The value of removed items will automatically transfer to your unscheduled equipment limit.
  • Overall Coverage Limit:
    • To reduce your overall limit, email [email protected] with your request. Specify the new desired limit. If a refund is due, you will be notified, and the decrease will be processed accordingly.
