Worldwide Coverage
Our equipment policies include worldwide coverage. As long as you are a resident of the United States and the equipment originates within the United States before traveling abroad, your coverage extends globally.
Key Points About Worldwide Coverage:
- Sanctioned Countries:
- Coverage does not apply in any countries currently sanctioned by the US State Department. You can find a current list of those countries and entities here.
- International Deductible:
- When abroad, a special deductible applies to all claims. This is called the international deductible, with options ranging from $500 to $5,000.
- US Residency Requirement:
- Coverage does not apply if you do not have a permanent mailing address within the United States. You must reside in the US for the majority of the calendar year and bring your equipment outside of the country for the coverage to apply.
- General Liability Coverage:
- General Liability coverage does not extend outside of the United States.
- Renting Equipment Abroad:
- If you plan to rent equipment while abroad, please contact our team at [email protected] to obtain a special Certificate of Insurance (COI) at least 3 business days before your insurance need.
- Non-Travel Policy Discount:
- If you do not plan to travel during your policy term, answer NO to that question on the application. Be sure to increase your international deductible to $5,000 to receive a discount on your policy payment. Note that international coverage cannot be removed outright.
